Ian Allan – Head of Market Strategy

Ian Allan is a specialist in district and community heating, whose career in the industry spans more than 25 years. Ian is a leading authority on smart metering, data management and billing systems, including new generation prepayment technologies. Ian WAS on the ADE panel for the Heat Networks Market Framework and was on the committee for the soon-to-be-released update to CIBSE CP1.

Ben East – General Manager - National Plant Room Operations 

Ben has been with Switch2 since 2009, starting as an apprentice. Ben has experience in both the commercial and domestic areas and currently manages all of Switch2’s commercial engineers, covering 100 energy centres ranging from 300 KW to 8 MW in size. Ben is a keen adopter of technology to improve and enhance performance and service to customers.
